• Emergency Medicine physician needed to cover both freestanding emergency department (FSED) and main hospital emergency department locations

• Must be BCEM boarded or have previous HCA experience
\n
\n
• If not ABEM certified, must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in an emergency department setting
\n
\n
• Certifications accepted: IM, FP, or ABEM
\n
\n
• 12-hour shifts available covering both AM and PM shifts
\n
\n
• Duration of need: 6-12 months to start
\n
\n
• FSED operates with 12 bays, single provider coverage, low to mid acuity patients, and an admission rate of 8-10%
\n
\n
• Main emergency department operates with 80 bays, multi-provider coverage, mid to high acuity patients, and an admission rate of approximately 30%
\n
\n
• Patient volume averages 2-2.5 patients per hour at peak times
\n
\n
• No trauma center designation
\n
\n
• Case logs required to demonstrate procedural proficiencies
\n
\n
• Orientation includes 2 shadow days and 1 IT/in-house orientation day
\n
\n
\n
