Job Description
We are seeking a Quality Assurance Consultant III to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in UI and API test automation with Java, Selenium, and RestAssured and a proven ability to plan, execute, and deliver comprehensive testing that ensures functional, non-functional, and compliance objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Translate complex software requirements into effective test strategies and plans.
- Build, maintain, and execute manual and automated test suites across Smoke, Integration, and Regression test types.
- Condition and generate high-quality test data to support comprehensive coverage.
- Lead test planning sessions and test case reviews with stakeholders and subject matter experts.
- Create and manage requirements traceability throughout the development lifecycle.
- Execute manual and automated tests, analyze results, and report defects with clear background and reproducible steps.
- Assist with defect triage and support code promotion through environments using defined tools and processes.
- Implement, enhance, and maintain test automation frameworks and identify automation opportunities.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Expertise in Java with UI automation using Selenium and API automation using RestAssured.
- Hands-on experience building and maintaining automation frameworks and developing reusable test components.
- Proficiency with Jenkins and source control tools such as GitHub or Bitbucket for CI/CD workflows.
- Strong skills in test design, defect reporting, and traceability management.
- Experience with performance testing concepts and tools.
- Proficiency with Jira for test management and Agile delivery tracking.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate test results.
- 8+ years of experience in Quality Assurance with automation and Agile delivery.
Preferred Skills:
- Lean Agile certification.
- Experience maintaining cataloged suites across environments and release cycles.
