Description
We are seeking a motivated and skilled professional to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts to ensure software quality. This onsite position in Irving, TX, requires strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle and testing methodologies. The role involves collaborating with teams to define test strategies and using various technologies to enhance product quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with teams to understand project requirements and define test strategies.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using a generic test automation tool.
- Conduct thorough manual and exploratory testing to uncover defects.
- Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support agile practices.
- Provide detailed reporting on test progress and product quality to stakeholders.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance with a focus on test automation.
- Proficient in designing automated test scripts with a generic test automation tool.
- Strong programming skills in an object-oriented language.
- Experience with test automation frameworks and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.
