We are seeking a highly skilled Informatica ETL Developer to join our data engineering team. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain complex data integration pipelines that drive our enterprise analytics and AI initiatives. You will be responsible for the full ETL lifecycle from source analysis and mapping to performance tuning in a hybrid multi-cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Pipeline Development: Design and implement scalable ETL/ELT processes using Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and PowerCenter to integrate data from disparate sources (SaaS, RDBMS, NoSQL, and APIs).
• Architecture & Design: Create detailed technical design documents (TDD) and data mapping specifications, ensuring alignment with data warehouse architecture and star/snowflake schemas.
• Cloud Integration: Utilize Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC) to manage cloud-native integrations, specifically focusing on Snowflake, AWS S3, or Azure Data Lake storage.
• Performance Tuning: Identify and resolve bottlenecks in high-volume data loads (multi-terabyte environments) through SQL optimization and Informatica session tuning.
• Automation & AI: Leverage CLAIRE-powered recommendations and AI-driven mapping tools to accelerate development cycles and improve data quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with Data Architects and Business Analysts to translate complex functional requirements into efficient technical artifacts.
• Maintenance: Provide production support, troubleshooting workflow failures, and ensuring 24/7 data availability for critical business units.

Technical Qualifications

• Core Tools: 5+ years of hands-on experience with Informatica PowerCenter (9.x/10.x) and 3+ years specifically with IICS (Cloud Data Integration/Application Integration).
• Database Mastery: Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL skills; experience with Oracle, SQL Server, and cloud warehouses like Snowflake or Databricks.
• Scripting: Proficiency in Unix/Linux Shell scripting or Python for automating pre/post-session tasks and file handling.
• API Integration: Experience building and consuming REST/SOAP APIs within Informatica for real-time data exchange.
• Data Modeling: Strong understanding of Dimensional Modeling, Change Data Capture (CDC), and Slowing Changing Dimensions (SCD Type 1/2/3).

Remote Work Requirements

• Proven experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment using remote collaboration tools (Slack, Jira, Zoom).
• Ability to manage time zones effectively and provide overlap with core business hours.
• High degree of accountability with a "documentation-first" mindset for code deployments and version control (Git/Bitbucket).

Preferred Certifications

• Informatica Certified Professional (Cloud Data Integration).
• Snowflake Core Certified.
