Field Engineer - Data Center Construction

Location: Fayetteville, GA
Pay: $35/hr

Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Field Engineer to support data center construction and deployment projects in Fayetteville, GA. This role will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing documentation, and ensuring all deliverables meet required specifications and quality standards.
The ideal candidate has experience in construction environments-preferably within data centers-and excels in vendor coordination, documentation management, and project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, construction drawings, and technical documentation
• Utilize Procore to manage, track, and streamline construction workflows and project documentation
• Support asset tracking and discovery processes using tools such as ACC (Agent Client Collector) and ServiceNow Asset Discovery
• Coordinate project activities across multiple vendors to ensure timely and accurate execution
• Prepare and complete submittal packages, including compiling test IDs and verifying parameters
• Review all project documentation for accuracy, completeness, and compliance prior to customer handoff
• Maintain organized project records and ensure deliverables meet specifications and quality standards
• Track project progress and generate reporting using Microsoft Excel (including advanced functions such as pivot tables)

Required Qualifications

• Experience in data center construction, deployment, or similar technical environment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Hands-on experience with Procore or similar construction/project management platforms
• Familiarity with ACC (Agent Client Collector) and/or ServiceNow Asset Discovery
• Proven experience coordinating or managing multiple vendors
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and data analysis
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on delivering accurate, compliant documentation

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting hyperscale or colocation data center projects
• Background in construction project coordination or engineering support roles

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $35.00/hr.
