Job Description:
Project Manager

Location: Round Rock, Texas (Partial Remote)

Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Manager to manage and execute configuration services projects from initiation through delivery. This role involves acting as the primary point of contact for customers, coordinating between internal sales teams and technical resources, and ensuring orders are processed correctly. The ideal candidate will have strong multi-tasking and communication skills, with the ability to proactively address potential issues and manage multiple active customers concurrently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the delivery of complex configuration services projects, ensuring quality and customer focus.
  • Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for all project-related aspects, coordinating with employees, partners, and customer resources.
  • Ensure orders are processed correctly, from intake to final shipment, coordinating with sales teams, project engineers, and factory personnel.
  • Develop and execute detailed project plans, including schedules, controls, and resources, while maintaining project governance.
  • Proactively identify and manage risks, providing weekly status reports and handling escalations as needed.
  • Maintain strong communication with all stakeholders, including customers, management, and sales, to ensure seamless relationships.
  • Predict and address potential issues, such as supply chain disruptions, to prevent delays and manage customer expectations.
Required Qualifications

Experience: 5+ years of related experience in a customer-facing role such as account coordinator, project coordinator, project management, or account management.

Skills:
  • Strong relationship-driven personality, with skills in teamwork, multitasking, and managing priorities.
  • Excellent phone communication and customer-facing skills.
  • Proficiency with PC operating system environments and the ability to conduct screen shares to guide customers through web-based tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to use project management techniques to drive projects to predictable and successful outcomes.
  • Ability to analyze performance to create plans for continuous improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills with a proactive mentality.
Preferred Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Project Management or a technical IT field.
  • Domain knowledge of Configuration Services and Managed Deployment Projects.
  • Previous experience with IT client-type customer projects or deployments.
