Description
We are looking for a skilled Field Engineer to join our team in New York, New York. This is a Contract to permanent position, offering an excellent opportunity to grow your technical expertise while providing essential support to multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working independently and traveling between sites daily to ensure seamless operations.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical support across 15 designated locations, addressing both onsite field tickets and desk-based tickets.
Assist with network migrations, including internet circuit transitions, ensuring minimal service disruptions.
Perform troubleshooting and maintenance tasks within environments utilizing technologies such as Juniper, Ruckus, and Meraki.
Handle occasional night shifts as required to accommodate specific project needs.
Utilize equipment and kits provided by the client to deliver effective solutions.
Respond promptly to service desk tickets, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
Maintain and update systems running on Microsoft Windows 10 and Active Directory.
Travel between sites daily to deliver consistent technical support and address immediate operational requirements.
Collaborate with team members and clients to enhance overall system performance and reliability.
Requirements
Hands-on experience with Active Directory and Microsoft Windows 10.
Proficiency in basic troubleshooting techniques to resolve hardware and software issues.
Familiarity with service desk ticketing systems and workflows.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Experience with networking technologies such as Juniper, Ruckus, and Meraki.
Comfortable traveling frequently between different sites.
Previous exposure to field engineering or related technical roles.
Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with teams and clients.
