Compensation: $70.00 - $80.00 per hour, W2, based on qualifications

Position Overview:
This is a hands-on product development and delivery role supporting the implementation of commercial card and payment-processing capabilities, with a strong emphasis on translating business objectives into actionable Agile artifacts like epics and features. The Lead Product Manager will help establish the delivery foundation for newly forming technology teams, prepare the product backlog, and support the transition into a two-week sprint cadence. The ideal candidate combines commercial payments expertise with experience leading complex platform implementations or migrations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead product development and delivery for one or more Enterprise Payments capabilities
  • Translate business needs, customer requirements, and strategic objectives into clearly defined epics, features, acceptance criteria, and other Agile artifacts
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized product backlog that is ready for execution by newly established technology teams
  • Partner with business leaders, engineering, architecture, operations, risk, compliance, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and delivery priorities
  • Help establish product delivery processes and prepare teams to operate within a two-week sprint cadence
  • Lead product planning for complex commercial card, payment-processing, or payments-platform initiatives
  • Support platform migrations and implementations from discovery and requirements definition through delivery, testing, launch, and stabilization
  • Identify dependencies, risks, and implementation considerations across multiple workstreams
  • Facilitate product discussions, backlog refinement, planning sessions, and stakeholder reviews
  • Provide direction and guidance to other product professionals while maintaining accountability for product outcomes
  • Ensure delivered capabilities meet business, customer, operational, regulatory, and technical requirements

Primary Requirements:
  • Significant product development or product delivery experience within payments, financial services, or a related technology environment
  • Experience creating and refining Agile artifacts, particularly epics and features
  • Demonstrated experience supporting commercial card products, card processors, or related payment-processing capabilities
  • Experience leading or supporting large-scale platform migrations, implementations, or modernization initiatives
  • Strong understanding of Agile delivery practices, backlog management, and iterative product development
  • Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements for technology teams
  • Experience coordinating delivery across business, technology, operations, and control functions
  • Strong communication, facilitation, prioritization, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in an evolving environment where teams and delivery processes are still being established
  • Must reside within the organization's approved geographic footprint and be eligible for conversion to full-time employment

Desired Skills:
  • Direct experience with Qolo or the implementation of Qolo-based payment capabilities
  • Experience with issuing, processing, transaction lifecycles, authorization, settlement, reconciliation, or commercial card operations
  • Experience launching a new Agile team or establishing a product backlog before sprint execution begins
  • Experience working within a highly regulated financial-services environment
