Top Requirements:4+ years of Information Security Analysis experience (or equivalent through work, consulting, training, military, education).Advanced Excel / Data Analysis (pivot tables, advanced formulas, large datasets, visualizations).Hands-on Jira experience (ticket workflow, tracking, collaboration).Cross-functional communication with application managers, business partners, architects, analysts, engineering teams.Experience validating/maintaining Information Security Controls (great to have).Plusses:Financial services experience (nice to have, not required).Experience participating in information security controls execution.Ability to handle large data sets and develop reporting for InfoSec initiatives.Job Summary:This contingent Information Security Analyst will support moderately complex Information Security Analysis initiatives, contributing to large-scale planning and execution of InfoSec deliverables.
The Analyst will evaluate security controls, perform detailed data analysis, track and manage work through Jira, and collaborate cross-functionally with application, engineering, risk, and business stakeholders.
The role requires strong analytical ability, deep Excel proficiency, effective communication skills, and the capability to support ongoing InfoSec operational activities and control validations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Analyze moderately complex Information Security challenges requiring evaluation of multiple variables.
- Validate, maintain, and support information security controls across applications and environments.
- Perform advanced Excel data analysis, including building reports, pivot tables, datasets, and visual summaries.
- Manage and track work using Jira, including ticket workflows, updates, and collaboration across teams.
- Support InfoSec compliance efforts, following internal policies, procedures, and regulatory expectations.
- Communicate clearly with cross-functional partners (business managers, architects, analysts, engineering teams).
- Contribute to issue resolution, control reviews, and continuous improvement of InfoSec processes.
- Participate in large-scale planning and coordination of security analysis activities.
- Support stakeholders in identifying, analyzing, and resolving information security risks.
