Parts, Materials, and Processes (PMP) Engineer to support design compliance and materials engineering efforts across advanced development programs. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys working at the intersection of
design, materials, and manufacturing, ensuring products meet rigorous technical, quality, and program requirements.
You'll collaborate closely with design, systems, and manufacturing teams while contributing to the development and verification of complex engineered systems supporting high-reliability applications.
Work Details- Location: On-site, Chandler, AZ
- Schedule: 1st Shift (9/80 Schedule available)
- Travel: Up to 10%
- Clearance: Ability to obtain a Secret-level clearance, clearance not required

Key Responsibilities- Review and verify engineering designs for compliance with materials and process system-level requirements
- Generate and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) using engineering data and enterprise material planning systems
- Perform analysis, design, and testing of materials, structural components, and functional systems
- Utilize advanced engineering and structural analysis software to support design decisions
- Apply and review GD&T principles to ensure correct interpretation and application on engineering drawings
- Support engineering projects through design, analysis, development, and test activities
- Develop and execute test programs to evaluate materials, structures, and system elements
- Provide cross-functional technical support across engineering and project teams
Basic Qualifications- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline with 2+ years of related experience
- OR Master's degree in STEM
- OR PhD in STEM with 0 years of experience
- Working knowledge of at least one programming language: MATLAB, Python, C, or C++
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Ability to obtain a Secret-level clearance
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with NX or other CAD tools
- Formal GD&T training and applied experience
- Ability to clearly present technical content to peers and project teams
- Familiarity with MATLAB, Python, and Linux environments
- Knowledge of basic corrosion principles
- Experience performing materials and process requirements and drawing reviews
- Familiarity with material characterization, qualification testing, and design allowables development
