About the RoleWe're seeking an
Embedded Software Engineer to support mission-critical development efforts for advanced aerospace and defense systems. This position involves a combination of embedded real-time development, system integration, and collaboration with cross-functional engineering teams. The role is fully onsite at our Chandler, AZ facility.

What You'll Do- Support all phases of the software development lifecycle:
- Requirements development
- Architecture & detailed design
- Coding using C/C++
- Unit testing
- Integration & test of real-time embedded software
- Ensure adherence to established software standards and processes
- Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams including hardware, systems, and test engineering
Basic Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- Experience with Object-Oriented C/C++ development on Linux
- Experience developing, debugging, and testing real-time embedded software
- Hands-on experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS) such as VxWorks, Integrity, LynxOS, Yocto Linux, or similar
- Experience with the full software development lifecycle
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Active DoD Secret clearance (within last 5 years)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
- U.S. Citizenship
Preferred Qualifications- Experience with PowerPC, ARM, or RISC-V architectures
- Hands-on experience with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) or real-time computer-in-loop integration environments
- Experience developing software interfaces for weapon system integration
