This position is for a role on a dynamic team responsible for building and enhancing an enterprise-wide Ansible Automation Platform. The successful candidate will serve as a proficient technical resource, handling components of complex engineering and analytical tasks. This role involves contributing to the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities, including technical support and data center capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop controls for automation platforms with a focus on shared content across enterprise tools.
- Implement the SDLC chain for managing automation content.
- Assist in establishing input/output processes and parameters for hardware compatibility and subsystem integration.
- Participate in the design, development, and implementation of systems engineering activities.
- Serve as a technical resource, providing knowledge and capabilities as a team member and individual contributor.
- Consider applications and platforms across the organizational portfolio for symbiotic alignment and service offerings.
- Incorporate multiple AI channels into standard practice to foster productivity and quality.
- While this role has no direct reports, it will influence and direct activities of teams related to special initiatives.
Work Environment
This position requires a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of three days per week on-site.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- A minimum of 5 years of top-tier systems engineering experience.
- 5+ years of experience with Ansible Automation Platform.
- 5+ years of experience with TrueSight Server Orchestrator.
- 5+ years of expert-level Unix/Linux administration and scripting experience.
Technical Skills:- Scripting languages: YAML, XML, Python, Perl, Shell.
- Strong analytical, multitasking, and prioritization skills.
- Proficiency in working in a fast-paced, complex, and dynamic business environment.
- Ability to understand complex application infrastructure and model for compliance reporting.
Professional Skills:- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to senior management.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to work with multiple groups to gather business requirements.
- Proven ability to build relationships and influence individuals across the organization.
- Commitment to being a strong team player with a focus on overall organizational goals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Github Copilot is a plus.
- Familiarity with TrueSight Server Automation (BladeLogic) will be helpful for current engineering support and future planning.
Compensation & Benefits
The estimated pay rate for this position is between $65.00 and $70.24 per hour. Benefits are available to eligible employees.
