Senior DevOps Engineer - Digital Commerce

As a Senior DevOps Engineer on the Digital Commerce Engineering team, apply technical expertise to design and automate processes supporting the continuous delivery of modern web applications and services.
This role requires hands-on experience leading DevOps initiatives, with emphasis on Jenkins, Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Bitbucket, GitHub, Artifactory, Helm, and Datadog.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Java, React, APIs, and cloud-native applications.
  • Automate build, testing, security scanning, deployment, release, and rollback processes.
  • Support applications deployed on Azure Kubernetes Service using Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm.
  • Automate the deployment, scaling, and management of CI/CD and application infrastructure.
  • Implement monitoring, logging, tracing, dashboards, and alerting using Datadog.
  • Integrate Jenkins with Bitbucket, GitHub, Jira, Confluence, Artifactory, testing, and security tools.
  • Define and promote CI/CD, DevSecOps, and operational best practices across the SDLC.
  • Troubleshoot pipeline, application, Kubernetes, networking, and deployment issues.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members.
  • Collaborate with development, QA, architecture, security, and operations teams.

Required Experience

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Work Experience

  • At least 5 years of IT experience in software development, cloud engineering, build, release, or DevOps engineering.
  • At least 2 years of hands-on DevOps experience designing and implementing enterprise CI/CD solutions.
  • Experience with Jenkins, Git, Bitbucket, GitHub, GitLab, and Artifactory.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure, AKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Helm.
  • Experience supporting Java services, APIs, React applications, and high-availability production environments.
  • Experience integrating testing, security, compliance, and deployment stages into CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience with Datadog or similar observability tools.
  • Experience with Python, PowerShell, Bash, Groovy, or REST API automation.
  • Understanding of cloud infrastructure, networking, ingress, certificates, secrets management, and container security.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale eCommerce or Digital Commerce platforms.
  • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Experience with Playwright, Selenium, or automated testing frameworks.
  • Azure, Kubernetes, or DevOps certifications.

The anticipated salary range for this position:

$116,000.00 - $174,000.00 Annual

The actual salary will vary based on applicant's location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. This role is bonus and/or incentive eligible. Medline will not pay less than the applicable minimum wage or salary threshold.
