Desktop Support Technician

iSphere is looking for a Desktop Support Technician who can step in and keep people working. This role is hands-on, user-facing, and focused on resolving issues quickly without overcomplicating the fix.
You’ll be the first point of contact when something breaks or stops working, helping users get back up and running and keeping day-to-day operations moving.
Must haves
• 1–3 years of desktop support or help desk experience
• Strong experience supporting Windows 10/11 and/or macOS
• Familiarity with Active Directory and Microsoft 365
• Experience working with ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira
• Basic networking knowledge including DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and Wi-Fi troubleshooting
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with non-technical users
• Ability to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work onsite
Nice to have
• CompTIA A+ or similar certification
• Experience with VPN support and remote troubleshooting
• Experience with hardware lifecycle management and device provisioning
What the work looks like
You’ll handle support tickets, walk-ups, and remote requests, troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. That includes setting up new workstations, installing and configuring devices, and supporting everyday tools like Microsoft 365.
You’ll track issues, document resolutions, and escalate when needed, but most of the time you’ll be the one solving the problem directly.
This role is about being reliable, responsive, and easy to work with. Users need someone who can fix the issue and explain it clearly without making it complicated.
