Summary

Position Description

Seeking an experienced SAP BASIS Consultant with 10+ years of expertise in SAP landscape administration, cloud platforms, upgrades, migrations, and AMS support across SAP environments.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer and support SAP ECC, BW, EWM, SLT, Solution Manager, Fiori, GRC, and Portal systems.
  • Manage SAP environments on Azure, AWS, and On-Premises platforms.
  • Perform system refreshes, kernel upgrades, patching, add-on installations, SSO configuration, and housekeeping activities.
  • Support SAP Solution Manager functions including System Monitoring, EWA, ChaRM, ITSM, DVM, and Satellite System Configuration.
  • Execute performance tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure optimization.
  • Support SAP S/4HANA upgrades, conversions, SAP RISE PCE implementations, cloud migrations, and hypercare activities.
  • Manage backup, recovery, HA/DR setup, and disaster recovery drills.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end critical business operations.

 

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of hands-on SAP BASIS administration experience.
  • Strong experience with SAP NetWeaver, SAP landscape management, and AMS support methodologies.
  • Expertise in:
  • SAP Solution Manager, EWA, ChaRM, ITSM
  • System Refresh (ABAP & Java)
  • Kernel & Support Package Upgrades
  • Fiori Administration
  • Performance Tuning & Capacity Planning
  • SSO Configuration
  • Experience with Oracle, HANA, MS SQL, and Sybase databases.
  • Strong knowledge of:
  • Oracle/HANA installation, upgrades, patching, HA/DR, backup & restore
  • SAP S/4HANA Upgrades & Conversions
  • SAP RISE PCE and Cloud Migrations (Azure/AWS)
  • Good understanding of Windows, SUSE Linux, RHEL, OEL, and AIX environments.

 

Preferred Skills

  • SAP BASIS Certification.
  • Experience with Azure monitoring, cost optimization, and cloud operations.
  • Exposure to large enterprise SAP landscapes.
  • Personal Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Flexible to travel within India and overseas as required.
