Senior Manager -Supply Chain Capital Projects

Are you ready to lead transformative logistics projects that shape the future of our supply chain network? We are seeking a Senior Manager of Logistics Capital Projects to drive the development, budgeting, and execution of major, minor, and strategic capital initiatives. This role will lead a high-performing team of project managers, engineers, and analysts to deliver world-class solutions that enhance efficiency, safety, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
  • Own project delivery: Ensure on-time implementation of logistics projects within budget while achieving planned benefits.
  • Lead project management excellence: Standardize processes, analyze data, and evolve a best-in-class program.
  • Manage engineering administration: Oversee major and minor capital projects including new facilities, expansions, remodels, and maintenance initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally: Partner with retail operations, technology, merchandising, procurement, supply chain, finance, and executive leadership.
  • Drive cost and quality excellence: Deliver projects at optimal cost, highest quality, and on schedule to meet logistics and business needs.
  • Ensure compliance and safety: Validate engineering solutions for safety, cost, time, quality, and throughput expectations.
  • Champion documentation and governance: Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting throughout the lifecycle.
  • Identify strategic opportunities: Develop initiatives and capital projects that enhance supply chain performance and customer service.
  • Build and develop talent: Recruit, train, and mentor high-potential team members to become future leaders.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends: Maintain continuous self-development and knowledge of innovations in logistics and engineering.
  • Travel: Visit distribution centers, project sites, and network locations as needed for project execution.
What We're Looking For

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil).
  • Proven experience in logistics, supply chain, distribution, or capital project management.
  • Demonstrated success in large-scale project management and execution.
  • PMP certification required.
  • Strong understanding of material handling systems, automation, and financial management.
  • Ability to provide general estimates on site work and building construction.
  • Exceptional problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and leadership capabilities.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering.
  • Experience as Regional Construction Manager or similar leadership roles.
  • Track record of working closely with executive sponsors and stakeholder groups to deliver strategic initiatives.
