Job Title: Lead Solution Architect – Financial Services & Mainframe Modernization

Location: Remote | Full Time

What You’ll Do:

Lead end-to-end architecture for mainframe-to-cloud modernization
Design migration strategies for COBOL, DB2, VSAM, EBCDIC, Flat Files, and Copybooks
Architect high-volume CDC, ETL/ELT, batch, and real-time data pipelines
Design cloud-native solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Work with Kafka, Spark, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, and MongoDB
Lead technical discovery sessions and cloud migration roadmaps for financial services clients
Drive data reconciliation, auditability, lineage, security, and governance
Collaborate closely with product and engineering teams to build scalable migration solutions

Required Experience:

7+ years in Solution Architecture / Technical Leadership
Strong hands-on IBM z/OS mainframe experience
Deep knowledge of VSAM, DB2, EBCDIC, Copybooks, and legacy data structures
Experience with CDC technologies such as Debezium, Qlik, or IBM InfoSphere
5+ years designing enterprise cloud architectures
Strong experience with microservices, Docker/Kubernetes, and serverless
Financial services knowledge, including ACID transactions, data security, encryption, SOC2, PCI-DSS, and GDPR

Preferred:

COBOL-to-Java/Python/Go modernization
AI-assisted migration or automated code translation
Fintech / enterprise SaaS / digital transformation consulting
AWS/Azure architecture certifications or TOGAF
