Job Title: Python Automation Developer

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ (ONSITE)
Type: Contract Position

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Python Automation Developer with 8 to 10 years of expertise in Python, JavaScript, Node.js, and modern automation frameworks. This position involves developing automation solutions, microservices, and test scripts while validating end-to-end application behavior. The candidate should have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and cross-functional teams.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 8 10 years of experience in Python Automation / QA / SDET roles
  • Strong programming knowledge in Python and JavaScript
  • Hands-on experience with Go Lang and Node.js
  • Experience with MochaJS for scripting and automated testing
  • Strong understanding of web technologies: REST, SOAP, XML, JSON
  • Proficiency in API testing using Postman / Bruno
  • Experience with GitHub for version control and Jira for project tracking
  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop microservices using Python, Node.js, and Golang for automation and service validation
  • Create standalone scripts to simulate workflows and validate system performance
  • Build Proof of Concepts (POCs) and participate in client demos and technical discussions
  • Lead creation of test strategies and manage test environments
  • Develop automated test scripts using MochaJS for functional, integration, and regression testing
  • Design reusable test components and validate API/microservice behavior
  • Integrate test suites into automation frameworks and CI/CD pipelines
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to refine requirements and improve test coverage
  • Perform requirement analysis and develop new automation scenarios
  • Support both manual and automation testing across applications and systems
  • Ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube and follow QA best practices
  • Provide technical guidance, troubleshooting, and mentorship to team members
  • Maintain version control and branching strategies using GitHub
  • Monitor automation execution, analyze failures, and drive root cause analysis
  • Document automation workflows, test scenarios, and technical processes
