Role: QA Engineer
Location: Philadelphia, PA (Onsite, Local candidates only)
Duration: 6+ months

Overview:
Seeking a QA Engineer to lead test planning, execution, and quality assurance for enterprise applications in an Agile environment. The role focuses on ensuring high-quality software delivery through automation, validation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts
Track and report QA metrics including defects, test results, and execution status
Identify, troubleshoot, and document issues, driving them to resolution
Support QA best practices and contribute to process improvements
Perform quality audits and ensure compliance with standards
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile/Scrum environments

Requirements:

5–8 years of QA/testing experience
Experience in application testing (including middleware or backend systems)
Strong Python scripting experience (3+ years)
Hands-on experience with test automation (must-have)
Experience with API testing (REST/JSON) and related tools
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and test management platforms (e.g., Jenkins, TestRail)
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

Nice to Have:

Exposure to analytics, media, or workflow-driven applications
Experience with additional scripting languages (e.g., JavaScript, C#, VBScript)
