Role: Microsoft Teams Migration Specialist
Remote (US)
Job Type: W2 Contract
Description:
  • Our client wants to convert all conference rooms from Zoom Rooms to Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR). Rooms split into two paths - rooms whose current Yealink equipment can be repurposed via software/firmware to run Teams Rooms, and rooms that need new Yealink hardware installed.
  • A room audit produced during discovery decides which path each room takes.
Skills required:
  • Hands-on Microsoft Teams Rooms deployment experience (Android and/or Windows MTR) at enterprise scale.
  • Yealink AV expertise: certified/experienced with Yealink Meeting Bar, MTouch consoles, and room kits, including flashing/reimaging Yealink devices from Zoom Rooms firmware to the Teams Rooms build.
  • AV integration and low-voltage installation capability: mounting, cabling, displays, cameras, mics, and room control for new-hardware rooms.
  • Microsoft Teams Rooms provisioning and management: resource accounts, Teams Rooms Pro licensing and the Pro Management portal, device enrollment, and policy configuration.
  • Networking and security awareness for AV endpoints (VLANs, firewall/proxy allow-lists, certificate handling) to work alongside internal IT.
  • Relevant certifications: Microsoft Teams Rooms / Teams Admin (MS-700), Yealink certification is a plus.
