Job Title: SAP PCS Lead

Location: Remote
EXP : 14+

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP PCS (Production Control & Scheduling) Lead to drive end-to-end design, configuration, and deployment of SAP S/4HANA PCS capabilities. The role requires deep functional expertise across production planning, shop floor execution, and integration with PLM and MES systems, particularly in complex manufacturing environments such as Aerospace & Defense.

Key Responsibilities:

Functional Leadership & Business Engagement

Lead the PCS workstream across SAP S/4HANA implementations
Partner with business process owners to gather and validate requirements
Facilitate Business-Driven Configuration Assessment (BDCA) and document outcomes
Own requirements management, gap analysis, and solution design

SAP Best Practices & Solution Design

Implement SAP PCS best practices including:

MBoM, Routings, and Shop Floor Execution
Production Order lifecycle from creation through confirmation and goods receipt
Make-to-Stock (MTS) and Make-to-Order (MTO) including WBS and Collective Orders

Plan and deliver Workshop A (system demos and presentation decks)
Define and document process flows, configuration rationale, and key decisions

Configuration & Documentation

Perform and document SAP configuration for:

Material Masters (classification, MRP, scheduling, costing views)
Work Centers, Bills of Materials, Routings, and Revision/ECM management
External processing and subcontracting
Production order kitting, rework, and order splitting

Author functional specifications for custom developments
Maintain comprehensive configuration and solution documentation

Testing, Security & Change Management

Develop and execute test strategies for standard and custom objects
Support authorization and security design for PCS processes
Drive change management activities including user adoption and training support

Advanced Manufacturing Capabilities

Manage parameter effectivity and integration with PLM and MES systems
Support batch-managed goods issues and reversals
Enable availability checking, shortage reporting, and production reporting

Required Skills & Experience:

SAP & Manufacturing Expertise

Strong hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA PCS / PP
Deep understanding of:

Production planning, scheduling, and execution
MRP, costing, and capacity planning

Experience with PLM and MES integrations
Solid background in Aerospace & Defense (A&D) or complex discrete manufacturing

Functional & Delivery Skills

Proven ability to lead workstreams in large SAP programs
Strong workshop facilitation and stakeholder communication skills
Experience producing high-quality functional and design documentation
Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior SAP S/4HANA transformation experience
Exposure to SAP Best Practices and Fit-to-Standard methodology
Experience working in remote or global delivery models
