What You’ll Do
Orchestrate comprehensive substation design projects up to 765kV, encompassing both physical layouts and intricate protection and control systems.
Synthesize complex engineering documents, including detailed schematics, relay panel wiring diagrams, grounding systems, and auxiliary power architectures.
Champion rigorous QA/QC protocols to ensure every design package meets the highest standards of safety and technical precision.
Cultivate the growth of junior engineering staff through proactive mentorship and technical guidance on multifaceted deliverables.
Synchronize efforts between multidisciplinary project teams, equipment vendors, and key stakeholders to drive seamless execution.
Engineer precise project lifecycles by developing construction specifications, procurement budgets, and strategic timelines.
Advocate for innovative technical solutions during client presentations and contribute to the expansion of the firm’s portfolio through expert proposal development.
What You Bring
Substantial Expertise: A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in high-voltage substation design, focusing on physical or P&C engineering.
Leadership Pedigree: A proven track record as a lead engineer or technical subject matter expert on large-scale infrastructure mandates.
Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to manage client relationships and coordinate between diverse technical and non-technical parties.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of industry-standard design and documentation tools, specifically Bluebeam Revu and the Microsoft Office suite.
Credentials: A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required; a Professional Engineer (PE) designation is highly preferred.
