Pay Range: $35.00hr - $40.00hr
Job Overview:
Our client is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with hands-on experience in Kubernetes administration, Azure DevOps, Secret Management, and Helm. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, managing, and automating cloud-native infrastructure and deployment pipelines. A strong theoretical understanding of Istio and Argo CD is essential. Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services is required.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications on Kubernetes clusters.
- Create, manage, and maintain Helm charts for application deployments.
- Implement and manage secrets management solutions to ensure secure application deployments.
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize Kubernetes environments.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to improve deployment reliability and efficiency.
- Support infrastructure automation and configuration management initiatives.
- Implement DevOps best practices, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and GitOps principles.
- Work with Azure cloud services to provision, configure, and manage cloud resources.
- Participate in release planning, deployment activities, and production support.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes administration and application deployment.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance.
- Experience in Secret Management tools such as Azure Key Vault, HashiCorp Vault, or similar solutions.
- Experience in creating and managing Helm Charts.
- Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker.
- Knowledge of Git version control and branching strategies.
- Familiarity with scripting using Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
- Experience with Azure cloud services, including Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) deployments, Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Monitor and Log Analytics, and Azure Key Vault.
- Must-have technical expertise in Kubernetes, Azure DevOps, Secret Management, Helm, Azure Cloud Services, Istio, and Argo CD.
Good-to-Have Skills:
- Experience with Terraform.
- Familiarity with Docker.
- Experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana.
