Job Description
We are seeking a UX Content Spec/Strategist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in content design within design systems, Figma, and Jira, and a proven ability to support multiple scrum teams and deliver accessible, accurate, and implementation-ready product content.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Experience Designers and accessibility partners to align content with features, functionality, and audience needs.
- Apply and update existing content strategies for new products and campaigns across digital platforms.
- Write, edit, and implement UI content following voice, tone, and design system guidelines.
- Review designs in Figma and provide content feedback and annotations.
- Support the content needs of multiple product teams and manage work through Jira stories.
- Validate accurate content implementation and resolve defects in partnership with product and engineering.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proficiency with Figma for content design within components and design systems.
- Ability to support multiple teams' content needs (~5 teams).
- Experience following design system content requirements and style guidelines.
- Jira experience to review and update stories and track delivery.
- 3+ years in UX content strategy, content design, or related roles.
Preferred Skills:
- Figma experience to review and add comments on designs created by Experience Designers.
- Background collaborating in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including refinement and planning.
Schedule and Work Arrangement
Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. CT are fixed bank hours within an 8-hour day. The individual may start earlier or end later to complete the day. Candidates must accommodate team scrum, refinement, and planning meetings, typically not earlier than 8:30 a.m. CT and not held in the afternoon. This is a hybrid role with three days per week required in office. Max bill rate: $71.90.
