Position: Electrical Engineer IV

Job Overview: This is an onsite role in Redmond, Washington. The Electrical Engineer IV will work on innovative hardware design and electrical engineering projects, contributing to the development of next-generation virtual, augmented, and mixed reality experiences. The role requires expertise in embedded design, analog/mixed signal design, and camera systems, with a focus on designing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems.
Responsibilities: - Develop schematics, guide board layout, assemble, test, debug, and integrate multi-component electrical systems using industry-standard simulation and design tools such as Cadence, Altium, MATLAB, and SPICE.
- Successfully bring up and debug opto-electrical systems, including image sensors, display driver ICs, lasers, depth sensors, switching power supplies, and low/high-speed digital communication interfaces such as I2C, SPI, UART, MIPI, and USB SS.
- Adapt and respond to changing priorities effectively.
- Simulate and test machine/structure/system operation.
Qualifications: - BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience required.
- 5+ years of industry experience in hardware design or electrical engineering roles, including use of schematic and board layout tools and bench test equipment such as oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and function generators.
- Proven ability to bring up and debug opto-electrical systems with components such as image sensors, display driver ICs, lasers, depth sensors, switching power supplies, and digital communication interfaces.
Preferred Qualifications: - Analog circuit design experience.
- Experience designing camera aggregation systems.
- Experience with flex and rigid-flex designs.
