AutoCAD Operator

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Jacksonville, FL that is seeking a detail-oriented AutoCAD Operator to support their facilities infrastructure operations for a large, dynamic environment.

Summary:
This role is responsible for producing, updating, and maintaining accurate technical drawings and documentation related to buildings, utilities, renovations, and capital improvement projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, ever-evolving environment where drawings and maps function as -living documents- and require continuous updates to reflect ongoing growth and modifications.

Duties Include:
* Create, edit, and maintain technical drawings using AutoCAD
* Update and manage digital floor plans, structural drawings, and site documentation
* Maintain underground utility maps and coordinate documentation with third-party utility locate vendors
* Support renovation and new construction projects by updating as-built drawings
* Serve as a documentation repository manager for structural and infrastructure plans
* Ensure all drawings align with organizational standards and version control practices
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, maintenance teams, and contractors
* Balance drafting responsibilities with facilities data and document management

REQUIREMENTS:
* To be considered for this position, candidates must have experience in a similar role, or they must possess significant knowledge, experience, and abilities to successfully perform the responsibilities listed
* Relevant education and/or training will be considered a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
