Role: Guidewire Business Analyst
Location: Lansing, Michigan - Remote

Job Description:
>> Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to Guidewire implementations and enhancements from underwriters, product managers, and policy operations teams
>> Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and other stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of project scope and objectives.
>> Translate business needs into functional specifications and workflows aligned with Guidewire modules.
>> PolicyCenter Configuration Alignment: Map out policy lifecycle processes like submissions, endorsements, renewals, cancellations, and reinstatements.
>> Product & Rating Setup: Assist in configuring the product model (lines of business, coverages, exclusions) and rating engines/rate tables.
>> Integration & Data Mapping: Define data mapping and integration requirements between PolicyCenter and external systems (BillingCenter, ClaimCenter, or third-party data providers)
>> Support UAT planning, execution, and defect tracking in collaboration with QA teams.
>> Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, daily standups, and user story demonstrations and other Agile ceremonies as required
>> Strong experience as a Business Analyst in Guidewire Insurance Suite projects.
Solid understanding of P&C insurance concepts, coverages, deductibles, and underwriting workflows
>> Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and process-mapping software like Visio
>> Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and documentation skills.
>> Certification in Guidewire or Business Analysis is a plus."
