Summary

Job Description -
  • Design, develop, and maintain SQL Server and IBM DB2 database objects, including tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Develop and optimize complex SQL queries, scripts, and database code, ensuring high performance and scalability.
  • Perform database performance tuning and troubleshooting, including query optimization, Explain Plan analysis, locking, deadlock, and concurrency issue resolution.
  • Design and implement database schemas, data models, and relationships to support business and application requirements.
  • Develop, support, and maintain ETL, data integration, migration, and data extraction processes across multiple data sources.
  • Ensure data integrity, security, compliance, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery standards are consistently maintained.
  • Collaborate with application development, analytics, and business teams to translate requirements into effective database solutions .
  • Participate in the full database lifecycle, including design reviews, code reviews, deployments, upgrades, release management, and technical documentation while promoting database best practices and standards.
