 we focus on SAP CPQ as the customer is leaning towards that platform vs Dynamics or Salesforce.

client has indicated that it is primarily for services management but CPQ experience also be needed for this role as well.

Customer prefers architects to be here onsite for at least 3 days a week, hence the ask for local or travel candidates. Travel expenses will be covered by the client.

Role Summary

Leads the technical architecture design for Lam''s SAP S/4HANA integration across both CSBG and GCO workstreams. Defines system blueprint concepts, integration patterns, and data flows between SAP and adjacent platforms including Dynamics, PLM, QMS, and CPQ.

Key Responsibilities

• Define future-state SAP S/4HANA architecture for service and sales processes
• Design integration patterns between S/4 and Dynamics (Field Service, CRM, CPQ)
• Develop system blueprint concepts for order fulfillment, spares, and service execution
• Define installed base data architecture and as-maintained BOM structures
• Design entitlement and warranty data models with SAP service modules
• Lead technical decision workshops with Lam enterprise architects
• Ensure alignment between SAP design and PLM/QMS integration touchpoints
• Provide guidance on SAP EMS platform fit/gap relative to target architecture

Required Experience

• 10+ years enterprise architecture with 5+ years focused on SAP platforms
• Deep hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (SD, CS, PM, or related modules)
• Strong understanding of SAP service management and field service capabilities
• Experience designing SAP-to-CRM integration patterns (SAP to Dynamics preferred)
• Installed base management and configuration data model experience
• Understanding of SAP pricing and condition record structures
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical architecture
• Experience leading architecture workshops with senior stakeholders
• Strong communication skills for executive-level presentations

Preferred

• Experience with SAP EMS (Equipment Management System)
• Semiconductor, capital equipment, or high-tech manufacturing industry background
• Understanding of PLM integration patterns (Windchill, Teamcenter, or similar)
• Experience with complex BOM structures and engineering change management
• Knowledge of SAP integration technologies (CPI, PI/PO, or BTP)
• QMS system integration experience
• Prior consulting or advisory engagement experience
