Job Description:
The Workday Integration Analyst is responsible for designing, building, testing, deploying, and supporting integrations across the Lennar Workday HCM landscape. The role partners closely with HR Technology, HR Operations, Payroll, and IT to deliver scalable, secure, and governed integrations that improve the employee experience and operational efficiency. At Lennar, this includes handson Workday integration development and collaboration across HR technology platforms (e.g., ServiceNow HRSD) as part of highimpact HR systems initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Integration Design & Development
- Design, develop, and maintain integrations using Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Workday Web Services (SOAP/REST); ensure robust logging, error handling, and retries.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs (mappings, transformations, security domains), adhering to integration and data governance standards.
- Build and optimize eventdriven and scheduled integrations that synchronize worker data, job/position data, compensation elements, and organizational hierarchies with internal and thirdparty systems.
Testing & Release Readiness
- Own unit, SIT, regression, and UAT cycles for integration changes; prepare test data, traceability, and signoff artifacts; support release cutovers and postgolive warranty.
- Validate the impact of Workday biannual releases and configuration changes on inbound/outbound interfaces; coordinate fixes and compatibility updates.
Operations, Monitoring & Support
- Monitor integration dashboards, failures, and queues; perform rootcause analysis and timely remediation; partner with vendors where applicable.
- Maintain runbooks, connection inventories, credentials rotation schedules, and operational documentation in line with Lennar’s governance practices.
CrossPlatform & HR Transformation Support
- Collaborate with HR Tech and business teams to align Workday integrations with employee lifecycle and HR service delivery roadmaps; coordinate with ServiceNow HRSD teams where processes span both platforms.
- Contribute to HR transformation initiatives by identifying automation opportunities, improving data quality, and enhancing experience across HR and Payroll processes.
Required Qualifications
- 3–6+ years of handson Workday integration experience across Studio, Core Connectors, EIB, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
- Proven track record delivering integrations for core HCM domains (worker/organization, job and position, compensation/payroll touchpoints) with strong data mapping and transformation skills.
- Experience executing full testing lifecycles (unit → UAT), release readiness, and production support for Workday integrations in an enterprise environment.
- Demonstrated ability to partner with HR/IT stakeholders and operate within HR technology governance and data integrity standards.
- Strong analytical/troubleshooting skills; ability to diagnose interface issues, parse logs, and implement preventive improvements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with integrations that support HR service delivery (e.g., routing HR transactions through ServiceNow HRSD and synchronizing back to Workday).
- Knowledge of Workday security domains for integrations, calculated fields for RaaS/EIB, and eventdriven models.
- Exposure to iPaaS or middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi) and to downstream systems in Payroll, Benefits, or Identity/ITSM.
- Workday certifications (e.g., Workday Integration, Studio) or Workday Pro accreditations (nice to have).
Core Competencies
- Ownership & Delivery: Drives outcomes across multiple concurrent integrations with clear timelines and risk mitigation.
- Stakeholder Management: Communicates clearly with HR, IT, and vendor partners; converts business needs into actionable designs.
- Quality & Governance: Champions data integrity, secure patterns, and upgradesafe designs; documents thoroughly.
What Success Looks Like
- Stable, scalable interfaces with reduced failures and faster recovery times; measurable improvements in HR/Payroll process SLAs.
- Seamless support for releases and HR initiatives with proactive impact assessments and wellrun UAT cycles.
- Positive feedback from HR Technology and business stakeholders on responsiveness, quality, and partnership.
