This position is classified as structured hybrid, with an expectation of a minimum of three (3) days per week working in the office and flexibility to work remotely on the remaining days. JOB DESCRIPTIONLocation RequirementThis position is open only to candidates who can work in the following approved location:
Los Angeles, CAKey Responsibilities:- Design and maintain scalable infrastructure solutions across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Implement automation for system provisioning, configuration management, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering, DevOps, and InfoSec teams to ensure secure and compliant system operations.
- Optimize performance and availability of enterprise systems including compute, storage, and networking.
- Lead incident response and root cause analysis for infrastructure-related issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, processes, and procedures.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to cross-functional technical initiatives.
- Participate in on-call rotations.
Qualifications:- 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure operations.
- Expertise in Kubernetes, Linux, administration and Cloud Ops.
- Proficiency with cloud platforms - Azure preferred.
- Experience with automation tools such as Git Ops, Ansible, Terraform, Claude AI.
- Familiarity with container orchestration, service mesh technologies, monitoring tools (Datadog, Prometheus), and logging frameworks.
- Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
- Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards (e.g., PCI DSS, SOC 2).
- Experience supporting high-availability and disaster recovery architectures.
Preferred Qualifications:- Experience in fintech or regulated enterprise environments.
- Familiarity with hybrid cloud architectures and enterprise networking.
- Contributions to open-source infrastructure tools or technical publications.
- Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.

PAY RANGEThe targeted full-time base salary for this position is $87,500 to $131,100 per year. The final compensation will be determined by a number of factors such as qualifications, expertise, and the candidate's geographical location.
