Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
Minimum of seven (7) years relevant work experience
3+ years hands-on configuration experience with Workday HCM core modules
3+ years of HRIS experience with a strong focus on Workday operational support and enhancement implementation/testing
Hands-on experience with Enterprise Interface Builders (EIBs), mass data loads, and data corrections in Workday
Experience supporting UAT testing, including test planning, execution, and defect management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail
Demonstrated experience supporting production environments, handling tickets, and resolving operational and data related issues
Strong understanding of HR data structures, downstream impacts, and data quality management
Excellent communication skills and the ability to interface with business stakeholders at all levels
Strong writing ability, including strong technical writing ability for system documentation, business requirements, and user training materials
From intake call
o Need workday expertise, some workday configurations knowledge but they won't be doing the configurations
o They will be putting together job aids and standard operating procedures
o Some validating integration output files, but doesn't expect integration experience
o Looking for configuration experience, and operations support experience
o Looking for experience with EIBs, mass data loads, data corrections
o Someone who has done user acceptance planning, track defects, explain what they're seeing, and collaborate with engineering team on solutions
Nice to Have Skills / Requirements:
Workday Pro Certifications in Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Reporting, Benefits, Compensation
o From intake call
Core HCM, then talent performance, then recruiting is order of experience preference
Hard to find experience in every one, but experience in 1-2 and open to learning, or has fundamental experience is fine
Experience with Phenom Candidate Sourcing and CRM implementation
Experience with Agile software development methodologies

The pool has been limited, she prefers this role to be local ideally Rockville
o If really needed, maybe NY/NJ for a stellar candidate, but definitely prefer DMV
Has only interviewed one person so far
Some people backed out when they heard they weren't doing hands on configuration bc they want to be hands on
o Make sure to ask this on screen
o She wants background experience in configuration but the role itself doesn't have configuration work
Consultants who have worked with Workday implementers are good with communication and have enough depth with seeing different types of implementations
