Hybrid 3 days onsite / 2 days remote in either Rockville, MD or Mclean, VA

The Sr. HRIS Analyst will support Workday operations and enhancements for the organization's People Solutions HR Technology team. The role will manage production support, data quality, reporting, and user guidance across Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Benefits, and Compensation. It will also execute testing for enhancements and upgrades, partner with product and engineering on configurations and integrations, and develop documentation and job aids. The work will enable accurate HR data, efficient processes, and effective decision making.

Rate: $95.00 to $105.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Provide day-to-day Workday production support, issue resolution, and system operational maintenance.
  • Support Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, and Reporting modules.
  • Guide HR partners on Workday processes, transactions, and operational best practices.
  • Execute data cleansing initiatives, conduct root cause analysis, coordinate fixes, and implement preventive controls.
  • Perform regular data audits for accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
  • Deliver advanced reporting and analytics using Workday and third-party tools.
  • Partner with product and engineering to design, test, and deploy business processes, security, reports, dashboards, and integrations.
  • Plan and execute UAT for enhancements, initiatives, and upgrades including scenarios, execution, defect logging, and validation.
  • Develop HRIS documentation, user job aids, and standard operating procedures.
  • Validate and reconcile inbound and outbound vendor data exchanges and escalate issues as needed.

Experience Requirements:
  • Seven or more years of relevant work experience.
  • Three or more years of hands-on Workday configuration across Core HCM, Talent, Performance, Recruiting, Benefits, Reporting, and Advanced Compensation.
  • Three or more years of HRIS experience focused on Workday operational support and enhancement implementation and testing.
  • Proficiency with EIBs, mass data loads, and data corrections in Workday.
  • Experience supporting UAT including planning, execution, and defect management.
  • Demonstrated production support experience managing tickets and resolving operational and data issues.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Understanding of HR data structures, downstream impacts, and data quality management.
  • Effective communication skills with ability to translate operational issues into requirements for technical teams.
  • Strong technical writing ability for documentation, requirements, and training materials.
  • Workday Pro Certifications in Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Reporting, Benefits, or Compensation (preferred).
  • Experience with Phenom Candidate Sourcing and CRM implementation (preferred).
  • Experience with Agile software development methodologies (preferred).

Education Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Workday Pro Certifications in Core HCM, Talent and Performance, Recruiting, Reporting, Benefits, or Compensation (preferred).
