Job DescriptionAI Use Case Engineering is the engineering execution layer within Marriott's AI Technology organization. We are forward deployed AI engineers embedded with agile teams across the enterprise, turning high-priority use cases into production solutions while building a shared knowledge base of tools, patterns, and architectures that makes every subsequent delivery faster. As a Director, AI Engineering, you serve as the AI Technology Lead for agile teams within a business vertical. You lead and advise those teams, managing a unified backlog and driving use cases from discovery through production with hands-on engineering. Your portfolio includes the highest-complexity engagements: multi-system integrations, large vendor engineering teams, and architectural decisions that set precedent across the AI program. You operate across concurrent engagement modes (Build, Consult, Advise, Monitor), with AI-powered coding assistants and a shared pattern library as required infrastructure. Reports to the Senior Director, AI Engineering (Use Case).
