Summary

Key Responsibilities
Install server racks and network equipment, connect switches, and manage, label, and route fiber optic and copper cabling
Support rack moves, equipment upgrades, and decommissioning activities
Test newly installed fiber and network circuits using OTDR and power meters to verify quality and signal strength
Diagnose connectivity issues and replace faulty hardware, including cables, optics, and switches
Respond to critical network outages and provide break-fix support
Perform preventive maintenance, clean fiber optic connectors, inspect cable routing, and support new data center build-outs
Follow data center safety procedures, use required personal protective equipment (PPE) and electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection, and adhere to lockout/tagout protocols
Collaborate with engineering, facilities, and supply chain teams
Maintain ticket updates and provide clear shift handovers

Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience
Bachelors Degree
OSHA 10
OSHA 30
BICSI Installer
BICSI Technician
