Job Description: QA Lead in USCDT
As a QA Engineer/Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and
performance of enterprise applications. You will partner closely with engineering, product, and
business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibili es
• Lead end-to-end quality engineering efforts for distributed systems and microservices
based pla orms
• Define and implement automa on-first tes ng strategies aligned with CI/CD pipelines
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable test automa on frameworks (Selenium,
BDD/Cucumber, UFT)
• Drive API and service-level tes ng using tools such as Postman and SoapUI
• Perform performance and load tes ng using JMeter; analyze system behavior under
scale
• Ensure comprehensive test coverage across func onal, regression, and integra on layers
• Collaborate with global teams to support end-to-end tes ng across interconnected
systems
• Par cipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and
retrospec ves
• Conduct peer reviews and promote best prac ces in test design and automa on
• Manage defects, risks, and quality metrics using tools like Jira, Rally, and HP ALM
• Validate data integrity through backend/database tes ng using SQL
Minimum Qualifica ons
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline
• Hands-on experience in soware quality engineering with strong focus on automa on
• Proven experience tes ng APIs and microservices architectures
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Strong knowledge of test lifecycle, defect management, and quality metrics
Preferred Qualifica ons
• Experience in financial services or highly regulated environments
• Exper se in automa on frameworks using Selenium (Java, BDD/Cucumber) and/or UFT
• Experience with performance tes ng tools such as JMeter
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins) and version control systems (Git/GitHub)
• Strong database tes ng skills (Oracle, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, DB2)
• Experience suppor ng iden ty/authen ca on pla orms (e.g., OTP, biometrics, login
systems)
• Demonstrated leadership or team management experience (for Manager level)
