An established financial services organization is seeking a Quantitative Analyst in Charlotte, NC. This hybrid role focuses on designing and executing automated testing for front office trading and financial applications.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: Hybrid (hybrid, 2-3 days in office)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test cases for front office systems, including trading platforms, order management systems, and market data feeds.
- Collaborate with front office users, developers, and QA teams to understand requirements and testing priorities.
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing to support application stability and accuracy.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and partner with development teams to resolve issues.
- Document test plans, test data, and test results while ensuring coverage aligns with business processes and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- Experience in capital markets fixed income, including swaps and derivatives trading systems.
- Strong Python development skills.
- Experience designing and executing automated test scripts for financial or trading applications.
- Experience with test automation tools or frameworks such as Selenium or TestNG.
- Strong understanding of trading workflows, financial instruments, and market data systems.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with Java or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with Agile development and continuous integration tools.
- Exposure to front office applications, including trading platforms or market data feeds.
