Fully remote – candidates can be located in the United States or Canada. (EST work hours)

Retirement Systems experience is highly desired.
Data migration experience is required.
Omni experience is a strong plus.

Summary
The ideal candidate will work closely with Business Stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, Data Architects, and cross-functional Agile teams to support the migration of data from a legacy retirement recordkeeping platform to a new retirement system. This role will be responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements, performing data analysis and mapping, supporting migration planning and validation, and ensuring data quality throughout the implementation lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders, Product Owners, Solution Architects, and technical teams to gather and document business and data migration requirements.
  • Analyze legacy and target system data structures to define source-to-target data mappings and transformation rules.
  • Document business rules, field mappings, data conversions, and data lineage to support migration activities.
  • Partner with development and data engineering teams to ensure migration requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
  • Support data profiling, data quality assessments, reconciliation, and validation efforts throughout the migration process.
  • Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and business process impacts, providing recommendations for resolution.
  • Work with business users to define and execute User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for migrated data.
  • Assist with reporting requirements, validating reports and ensuring reporting accuracy following data conversion.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including PI (Program Increment) Planning, backlog refinement, sprint planning, and stakeholder reviews as needed.
  • Serve as the liaison between business and technical teams, ensuring alignment throughout the migration initiative.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor''s degree in any discipline, preferably in Business, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Significant experience in the U.S. retirement industry, specifically around retirement recordkeeping operations and services, is highly preferred. Related experience within wealth management, asset management, investment management, payroll, or banking will also be considered.
  • Experience with Defined Contribution retirement plans is required.
  • 5+ years of Business Analyst experience with a strong focus on enterprise data migration, data conversion, or large-scale system implementations.
  • Demonstrated experience developing source-to-target mapping documentation, defining business transformation rules, and supporting end-to-end data migration efforts.
  • Experience performing data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and data quality assessments.
  • Strong understanding of reporting requirements and experience supporting report validation during system implementations or migrations.
  • Experience working in Agile environments and collaborating with cross-functional delivery teams.
  • Experience with Omni is a strong plus.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, SQL, or other data analysis and Agile project management tools is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
