Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Publisher to support a large-scale reporting and analytics initiative. The selected consultant will be responsible for migrating IBM Cognos reports to Microsoft Power BI, developing new dashboards and reports, and providing ongoing production support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Migrate existing IBM Cognos reports to Microsoft Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain Power BI solutions.
• Create interactive dashboards, scorecards, metrics, graphs, filters, and reports.
• Work with Oracle databases and develop SQL/PL-SQL queries to support reporting requirements.
• Provide production support, troubleshooting, enhancements, and issue resolution.
• Develop Power BI usage and adoption reports.
• Collaborate with business users, analysts, and technical teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
• Support Power BI workspace architecture, security, governance, versioning, and documentation.
• Ensure reporting solutions comply with organizational standards and accessibility requirements.

Required Skills:

• 3+ years of Microsoft Power BI development experience.
• 3+ years of IBM Cognos experience.
• 3+ years of Microsoft Fabric experience.
• Strong Oracle Database, SQL, and PL/SQL experience.
• Experience developing enterprise dashboards and reports.
• Experience with report migration projects.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Higher Education domain experience.
• Experience with Student Information Systems (SIS).
• Knowledge of ADA accessibility standards and data governance practices.
