Summary

Job Role: ETL Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to support data processing and analytics.
  • Build, maintain, and enhance ETL pipelines using Redshift and other AWS data services.
  • Collaborate closely with customers and internal stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions within the AWS/Redshift ecosystem.
  • Coordinate with crossfunctional teams to ensure smooth delivery of data solutions.
  • Perform data validation, troubleshooting, and performance tuning across databases and ETL jobs.
  • Prepare clear documentation, reports, and presentations for both technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Act as a liaison between business users and technical teams to ensure alignment and successful project outcomes.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong proficiency in SQL, including stored procedures, functions, and performance optimization.
  • Handson experience with Amazon Redshift and the broader AWS ecosystem (e.g., S3, EC2).
  • Solid understanding of ETL concepts, data modeling, and data warehousing best practices.
  • Business Analysis skills, including requirement gathering, process mapping, and stakeholder communication.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to explain complex concepts clearly.
  • Proven experience in customer coordination and managing expectations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
