Job Title: QA Lab Technician

Job Location: Los Angeles, CA (Onsite)

Description:

AgreeYa is a global systems integrator and is seeking an experienced QA Lab Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will support product teams and product development by building, maintaining, and managing devices and software used for quality assurance testing. You will leverage your expertise in hardware, operating systems, and gaming devices to ensure a high-quality player experience while staying current with industry trends and identifying potential risks.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Maintain an organized, clean, safe, and secure lab environment for developers
  • Coordinate with procurement teams to obtain new hardware and components
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair hardware devices and systems
  • Maintain and audit lab inventory and assets
  • Assist developers with QA testing requirements and device setup
  • Prepare and configure devices for deployment into the lab
  • Analyze industry trends and provide insights for testing improvements
  • Recommend system configuration changes to enhance testing efficiency
  • Support accessibility testing initiatives to improve user experience

Required Skills & Experience:

  • 2+ years of relevant experience in QA lab support, hardware testing, or similar roles
  • Strong understanding of player experience, especially with gaming devices and peripherals
  • Experience with QA/testing processes and methodologies
  • Expert proficiency in Windows 7 and above
  • Expert proficiency in macOS (OSX 10.10 and above)
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for PC hardware, operating systems, drivers, and BIOS
  • Experience working with gaming hardware and peripherals
  • Experience with mobile devices including Android and iOS
  • Knowledge of iOS provisioning using Xcode
  • Experience building and repairing PC hardware
  • Familiarity with image deployment tools such as Norton Ghost
  • Experience with performance and benchmarking tools
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 40 lbs

Preferred Skills & Experience:

  • Experience supporting hardware across multiple platforms (mobile, console, PC)
  • Basic networking knowledge and troubleshooting experience

Education Required:

  • Bachelor s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience

  • This role requires full-time onsite presence in Los Angeles, CA
