Senior Project Manager - Security Systems Program

Job Type: Contract (Temporary)

Pay: Available on W2

Location: Minneapolis, MN preferred; open to qualified candidates nationwide

Travel: Limited travel required. Occasional site visits may be needed, but the role primarily relies on remote coordination and management of local project teams.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a nationwide security systems upgrade program across a large portfolio of U.S. office locations. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience managing security integration initiatives, electrical systems projects, and multi-site deployments.

The successful candidate will be a strategic leader who can quickly assume ownership of a complex national program, coordinate regional teams, and drive successful project execution from day one. This position requires someone who can proactively identify challenges, develop practical solutions, and build strong partnerships with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and oversee a nationwide security systems upgrade program across multiple U.S. office locations.
  • Manage security technology and electrical infrastructure upgrade projects while maintaining consistent quality and standards.
  • Develop and execute rollout strategies, project sequencing, and implementation schedules.
  • Coordinate and direct regional and local project teams to ensure successful delivery.
  • Monitor project scope, timelines, budgets, risks, and deliverables.
  • Partner closely with security stakeholders and cross-functional teams throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Identify potential issues early and implement effective corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable security standards, electrical codes, and organizational requirements.
  • Provide regular project updates, status reporting, and stakeholder communications.
  • Drive continuous improvement and operational efficiencies throughout program execution.


Requirements

Required Qualifications

Experience
  • 7-10+ years of project management experience supporting security integration projects.
  • Proven success leading large-scale, multi-site security systems implementations.
  • Strong experience with security coordination and electrical systems integration.
  • Experience managing enterprise-wide programs across multiple locations.
  • Ability to quickly assume ownership of complex projects with minimal oversight.
  • Industrial environment experience is highly preferred.

Technical Knowledge
  • Deep understanding of security technologies, including:
  • Access Control Systems
  • Video Surveillance (CCTV)
  • Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Strong knowledge of electrical infrastructure and power requirements supporting security systems.
  • Experience with security integration platforms and technologies.
  • Understanding of system architecture, network infrastructure, and cybersecurity considerations related to physical security systems.

  • Demonstrated success leading complex, nationwide infrastructure or security modernization programs.
  • Familiarity with industry best practices and compliance requirements related to physical security systems.
