Our client is a roadway system, and as a part of their digital transformation, they are implementing a solution based on SAP BRIM & Microsoft Dynamics CE.
Data-Core Systems Inc. is seeking a Digital Payment Processing Architect to be a part of our Consulting team. You will participate and effectively contribute to the design, development, and implementation of complex applications, often using new technologies. You will provide technical expertise and systems design for individual initiatives. You will have the opportunity to work with other SME consultants from our existing team.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust digital payment solutions.
- Architect end-to-end payment systems, including card payments, mobile wallets, and other emerging technologies.
- Ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Evaluate and select appropriate payment platforms, APIs, and third-party services.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and advancements in payment technologies.
- Integrate payment gateways, processors, and authentication services into our applications.
- Design seamless payment flows across web, mobile, and other channels.
- Implement robust security measures for data protection, encryption, and fraud prevention.
- Ensure compliance with PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard) and other relevant regulations (SOX, SOC2/3, CSA, HIPAA, ISO 27001, etc.).
- Optimize transaction processing speed, latency, and reliability.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues promptly.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, product managers, and business analysts.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Fully document all created work associated with this position, including technical and functional designs and diagrams, test plans, test scripts, impact analysis reports, lessons learned, best practices for others to follow, plus any other documentation as required by the Client. This documentation shall follow the format and / or templates as instructed by the Client.
- Develop and maintain a productive working relationship with technology staff, business owners, project sponsors, vendors, and key clients.
- Lead and participate in project team activities for system work efforts related to enterprise systems.
Required Experience:
- 8+ years of expertise in Payment Applications on projects of various sizes and subject matters.
- Bachelor’s degree in business management or information systems.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be accepted.
