Role Overview
We are seeking a Test Engineer for a contract position. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in software testing and quality engineering, with a focus on ETL and database automation. This role requires proficiency in writing complex SQL queries and validating data processes within an Agile framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, model, and develop complex SQL queries for Oracle & SQL Server.
- Validate data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
- Write complex SQL queries for data validation and reconciliation.
- Support database test automation efforts.
- Conduct automation testing using Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
- Collaborate with teams using Agile methodologies.
- Utilize Bitbucket, Jira, and Micro Focus Octane for source control and test management.
Required Qualifications
Experience:- 8-10 years in software testing and quality engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with complex SQL queries (Oracle & SQL server).
- Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies.
Technical Skills:- Proficiency in validating data extraction, transformation, and loading processes.
- Knowledge of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.
- Automation testing experience with Selenium WebDriver or Playwright.
- Familiarity with Bitbucket, Jira, and Micro Focus Octane for test management.
Preferred Qualifications
- Banking or Finance domain knowledge.
Compensation & Benefits
A pay rate of $50.00 to $60.00 per hour is offered for this position. The compensation package includes benefits available to eligible employees.
