POSITION OVERVIEW
TWP is seeking a hands-on IT Manager to lead and oversee all technology operations across our corporate office, retail locations, and distribution center. This is a highly autonomous role responsible for ensuring secure, reliable, and scalable systems that support both internal teams and customer-facing operations.
This role operates as the primary internal IT owner, responsible for hands-on execution across end-user support, systems administration, and day-to-day issue resolution. The IT Manager works independently while coordinating with external managed service providers and vendors as needed, and partners closely with executive leadership to ensure technology scales with continued business growth.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
End-User & Device Management
· Serve as the primary IT point of contact for corporate, retail, and warehouse teams.
· Provision, configure, and maintain laptops, desktops, and mobile devices.
· Manage the full device lifecycle including onboarding, upgrades, replacements, and offboarding.
· Administer Microsoft 365, email, permissions, and security settings.
· Manage Azure Active Directory / Entra ID and user access controls.
· Oversee mobile device management (iOS) using JAMF.
· Provide responsive troubleshooting across hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
· Deliver high-touch support to executive leadership as needed.
Retail Systems, ERP & Enterprise Platforms
· Oversee retail technology systems, including POS hardware and software.
· Serve as the IT lead for BlueCherry ERP and support NetSuite administration in partnership with Finance.
· Ensure integrations between ERP, POS, e-commerce, and other SaaS platforms function reliably.
· Support additional enterprise and business applications (e.g., PLM, reporting, design, retail operations tools).
· Support store openings, relocations, and technology installations.
Warehouse & Distribution Support
· Support distribution center technology including workstations, printers, scanners, label systems, and network connectivity.
· Ensure uptime for fulfillment, inventory, and operational workflows.
Systems & Infrastructure
· Manage macOS and Windows environments including patching, updates, and software deployment.
· Oversee Endpoint Manager and JAMF environments.
· Coordinate network, firewall, and Wi-Fi services with external providers.
· Ensure secure access controls, MFA, endpoint protection, and data backups.
· Act as the day-to-day owner of system reliability, security posture, and operational uptime.
Operating Model & Escalation
· Serve as the first point of escalation for all IT issues.
· Resolve issues directly where appropriate and escalate to MSPs or vendors for specialized support.
· Own issue triage, root-cause analysis, vendor accountability, and resolution.
· Maintain documentation to support continuity and future scaling.
Planning, Growth & Role Expansion
· Partner with Finance and leadership on IT budgeting, forecasting, and vendor strategy.
· Identify scalable solutions to support retail expansion and organizational growth.
· Help evolve the IT operating model and support future internal team growth as the company scales.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· 5+ years of hands-on IT experience supporting corporate and/or operational environments.
· Experience operating as a primary or sole IT resource.
· Strong hands-on experience with end-user support, device management, and identity/access administration.
· Experience supporting multi-location environments including retail and/or warehouse operations.
· Working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Azure / Entra ID, endpoint management, and SaaS platforms.
· Experience working with managed service providers and external vendors.
· Foundational understanding of networking, security, MFA, and endpoint protection.
· Ability to operate independently, prioritize effectively, and exercise sound judgment.
· Strong communication skills and comfort supporting executive leadership.
· Proven documentation and process discipline.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
· Experience supporting retail POS systems and store-level technology.
· Exposure to ERP platforms such as BlueCherry or NetSuite.
· Experience supporting warehouse or distribution center technology.
· Prior experience helping scale or mature an IT function.
· Relevant technical certifications.
CERTIFICATIONS & EDUCATION
Hands-on, real-world experience operating as a primary IT owner is prioritized over formal or paper credentials.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent professional experience.
At least one foundational IT certification or equivalent validated experience is strongly preferred.
