Role Overview
We are seeking a Technology Specialist EDI (Healthcare) with strong expertise in C#, .NET, MSSQL, and EDI transactions (837/835). The ideal candidate will have deep experience in healthcare data exchange, claims processing, and end-to-end software development, along with the ability to work on complex, cross-functional systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Software Development & Engineering
Perform full SDLC activities:
Requirements analysis
Application design
Development (C#/.NET)
Testing and deployment
Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance applications
Write clean, reusable, and efficient code
- EDI & Healthcare Integration
Work extensively with EDI transactions (837, 835)
Design and implement EDI integrations and data pipelines
Ensure compliance with healthcare data standards
Work with tools such as EDI Fabric (preferred)
- Database Development
Design and optimize complex MSSQL databases
Develop advanced T-SQL queries and stored procedures
Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and optimization
- Architecture & Design
Design reusable components, frameworks, and libraries
Contribute to system architecture and design decisions
Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical solutions
- Collaboration & Leadership
Work with cross-functional teams (Business, QA, DevOps)
Participate in code reviews and enforce best practices
Drive improvements in development efficiency, quality, and speed
Support team alignment on technical goals and delivery milestones
Mandatory Skills
- 9+ years of experience in:
- C# and .NET development
- MSSQL (advanced T-SQL, stored procedures)
- Strong experience in Healthcare domain (7+ years preferred)
- Hands-on expertise in EDI transactions (837/835 claims processing)
- Experience in end-to-end software development lifecycle
- Ability to work on complex, cross-functional systems
Preferred Skills
- Experience with EDI Fabric
- Knowledge of HL7, X12 standards
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure/AWS)
- Experience with Agile methodologies
- Exposure to DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines
