Knowledge Engineer Roles and Responsibilities:
  • Represents MDM team for all product setup related projects
  • Acts as lead during configurator related projects
  • Collaborates and consults with business partners and stakeholders on how best to execute product structute in a way that meets or exceeds customer manufacturing, sales, installation and maintenance requirements. expectations along with meeting Keysight development,
  • On-going maintenance of current products per business requirements, including the product lifecycle along with execution of the discontinuation strategy.
  • Provides an effective and timely interaction and resolution to product setup issues
  • Price all products based on approved PCN and at appropriate point in workflow; calculate and enter reference pricing into Oracle (25 Pricelists + NAS Customer Specific pricelists)
  • Maintain NAS Customer Specific pricelist pricing matrix
  • Ensure Product Management and others are following guidance for out of cycle price changes, PHCC changes, Product EOS + EOL
  • Support all input for Product Compatibility matrix (CMS) on Support site working with QA Manager/Product Mgr (Customer facing)
  • Manage all End of Sale & End of Life product changes
  • Plays a leadership role in providing scalable solutions and new or improved business processes that align with strategic goals, also establishing and driving alignment with Keysight Standards.

Responsibilities

  • Sufficient technical and business breadth and knowledge of product representation and product structure.
  • Demonstrated aptitude with Keysight product lifecycle management systems and product BOM structures
  • Sense of customer urgency: focus on customer and impact to customer.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team or to lead others to achieve a common goal, working in cross-functional projects and exhibit decision-making and good judgement.
  • Self-starter; takes initiative and able to work independently with little-to-no supervision.
  • Ability to define mathematical algorithms and complex logic expressions.
  • Excellent verbal, written presentation, collaboration and interpersonal communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science, electrical engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
  • Good Understanding of Oracle EBS
  • Understand object-oriented concepts and ability to implement them
