Apex Systems is hiring for a Lead IAM Engineer for a major Healthcare company.

Location: Anywhere in the United States

Employment Type: 7-month contract with possibility to extend.

Role Overview

The Candidate will work with application teams internally to onboard successfully into Conjur, as well as the other possible fully managed CyberArk offerings.

This position leads the design, implementation, and maintenance of Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems and solutions. The role involves reviewing system, user, and administrative access for enterprise applications and platforms.

The Lead IAM Engineer will guide cross-functional teams through the entire implementation process of scalable and stable technology solutions to meet business identity access needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Enforce policies and procedures related to identity lifecycle management using IAM technical best practices.
  • Analyze, design, develop, implement, and support identity-related areas of software applications and identity governance.
  • Review documentation of IAM technical requirements, designs, infrastructure, and support processes.
  • Liaise with information security, risk management, infrastructure, and architecture teams to implement end-to-end IAM solutions.
  • Lead the development of IAM technical strategies, designs, standards, and procedures.
  • Perform coding, configuring, testing, and documentation of developments in the IAM landscape.
  • Troubleshoot and solve a wide variety of security-focused IAM issues.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Primary focus is on Implementation and Operations of CyberArk Conjur.
  • Lead team discussions on Conjur best practices.

This role will work with application teams internally to onboard successfully into Conjur, as well as the other possible fully managed CyberArk offerings.

Required Qualifications

Education: A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field such as statistics, mathematics, engineering, or computer science is required, or equivalent experience.

Experience: 5+ years of related experience is required.

Technical Skills:

CyberArk Conjur 2-3 years

Active Directory 3-5 years

Candidate should have a strong knowledge of Active Directory as well as a good understanding of networking and DR/HA. Also should have scripting/coding knowledge with PowerShell, Python, or Bash and be a strong proponent of automation. Understanding of IAM concepts and Identity lifecycle as well as Structured Agile Framework.

Nice to have: Certifications in CyberArk Defender, Sentry or Guardian, CyberArk Conjur, CompTia Security +

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience leading team discussions
  • Experience with AWS/Kubernetes/Docker
  • Ability to communicate with the application development teams
