We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accountant to join our team. This role will be responsible for providing financial insights and accounting solutions to our clients.

Job Details

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting and financial consulting services to clients in the manufacturing industry.
• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Cost Accounting.
• Utilize QuickBooks to maintain financial records and reports, perform account reconciliations, and conduct internal audits.
• Analyze financial data to identify our company's financial status and performance.
• Develop and implement effective financial strategies, control systems, and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial reports and statements and ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with the law and company's policies.
• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Accounting, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficient in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, QuickBooks, and Cost Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, procedures, and legislation.
• Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail.
• Strong computer skills, particularly with accounting software and MS Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.
• CPA or CMA certification will be considered an advantage.
