Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer 3 - Alteryx Cloud Implementation Lead (Contingent)

Location: Charlotte, NC OR Irving, TX

Contract Length: 6 Months (Potential Extension)

Pay Rate: $53 - $ 57/hour (OT40)
Top Requirements:

Alteryx Server Administration and Alteryx Cloud implementation experience, including migration from Alteryx Server to Alteryx Cloud.

Strong Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) and Virtual Private Cloud (VPC) networking experience.

Experience leading enterprise cloud implementations or migrations from strategy through operationalization.

Strong understanding of cloud architecture, enterprise integrations, APIs, identity/access management, and SaaS platforms.

Ability to independently drive projects while managing stakeholders across infrastructure, cybersecurity, risk, operations, product, and vendor teams.

Plusses:

Experience within Financial Services or other highly regulated environments.

Experience with Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, SQL Server, Oracle, or Teradata.

Experience developing governance frameworks, onboarding processes, and support models for enterprise platforms.

Experience delivering user enablement, training programs, and adoption strategies.

Alteryx Server certification.

Job Summary:

This Infrastructure Engineer 3 role supports the migration and implementation of the enterprise Alteryx Cloud Platform. The engineer will serve as a technical leader responsible for advancing the organization's transition from Alteryx Server to Alteryx Cloud while ensuring compliance with governance, security, risk, and infrastructure requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring deep Alteryx administration expertise, strong Google Cloud Platform and networking knowledge, and proven experience leading enterprise cloud platform transformations. This role requires a highly independent individual who can engage with vendors, technical teams, and risk partners to drive implementation decisions, resolve dependencies, and deliver a successful cloud operationalization strategy.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Lead the ongoing Alteryx Server to Alteryx Cloud migration and implementation effort.
• Drive platform strategy, architecture, governance, operational readiness, and knowledge transfer activities.
• Partner directly with Alteryx, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, risk, and operations groups to resolve implementation challenges.
• Design, review, and support Google Cloud Platform-based architectures, including VPC networking, routing, firewall rules, DNS, and secure connectivity.
• Administer and support enterprise Alteryx environments, including platform configuration, security, governance, and operational support.
• Develop migration plans, architecture documentation, support runbooks, governance standards, and operational procedures.
• Support enterprise integrations, APIs, authentication solutions, SSO, SAML, OAuth, and role-based access controls.
• Work through cloud migration dependencies and technical challenges while ensuring alignment with regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Participate in Agile/Kanban delivery processes utilizing Jira.
• Influence stakeholders and facilitate technical decision-making across multiple teams without direct authority.
• Perform knowledge transfer activities and establish long-term support models for operational teams.
